The registration form for each year is different and has examples of the information required for submission. For 1969 through 1972, you may also register a NON-SS Chevelle/El Camino. Primary purpose for their registration is to collect information on Chevelles/El Caminos that could, at some later date, be cloned and sold as true SS optioned cars. The same type of documentation is required for NON-SS as for SS cars, i.e., body plate and some sort of paperwork, POP, photo of car, etc. clearly showing the VIN and obvious NON-SS status.
